Welcome Back! Third grade got off to a great start this week! The children were all excited to be back at school. They were filled with enthusiasm at what third grade will bring. This week we played some getting to know you games, and introduced procedures and routines. Friday was also our first Spirit Assembly! We learned about this year's theme, Olympics @ CHA! Room N will learn all about France this year.

This week, we also went through the materials list. Thank you for your efforts to have your child prepared. Responsibility is frequently reinforced during the 3rd grade year. This is a good start! A list of missing items was sent home. Please have your child bring those items by Monday, if possible. These first weeks of school are a period of adjustment for all of us. The students are settling in well, and beginning to learn what is expected of them this year. We are looking forward to a great year!
Next week will be our first full week of school. There will be a Remembrance Assembly on Friday, so please have your child wear their gold Spirit Shirt.
